NPI Validator
Validate NPI format and check if it exists in our database
Enter a 10-digit NPI number (with or without dashes)
How NPI Validation Works
Format Validation: The NPI is checked using the Luhn algorithm to ensure it has a valid checksum. NPIs must be exactly 10 digits, with the first digit being 1 (individual) or 2 (organization).
Database Check: If the format is valid, we search our comprehensive database to see if the NPI exists and retrieve provider information if available.
Note: A valid format does not guarantee the NPI exists in the registry. Some NPIs may be valid but not yet indexed in our database.
